Electrical professionals install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems. Electricians are trained to identify problems with electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers. They also maintain and repair large motors, equipment, and control systems in businesses and factories.

Plumbing professionals install and repair pipes that supply water and gas to, as well as carry waste away from, homes, businesses, and factories. Plumbers install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
